Insights

Editorial policy

Insights articles are written by the QuickPhotos Editorial team for working photographers, videographers and their clients in India.

What we publish

Practical guides: posing prompts, camera and lighting settings, editing workflows, gear choices, pricing and working with clients. Each article aims to be specific enough to use on the next shoot.

How articles are written

•
Every article is at least 1,200 words, uses clear headings and gives concrete steps, numbers and examples.
•
Prices and costs are given as ranges with the city or region they apply to, and dated by the article's last update.
•
Articles link to the QuickPhotos pages they mention, such as city pages and the photographer directory.

Pictures and credits

•
Pictures come from Unsplash, linked from the source, or from our own uploads.
•
Every picture has alt text, a caption and a full credit to its creator, with links to the creator and the original picture.
•
Captions describe the technique shown. Stock pictures never imply that the people shown are our photographers or clients.

Reviews and updates

Each article shows when it was published and when it was last updated. Articles are reviewed before publishing and updated when prices, rules or tools change.

Translations

Articles are written in English. A translation is indexed only after a person has reviewed it.

Corrections

If you find a mistake, tell us through the grievance page or Help. We correct errors and update the article's date. To report a picture, use Copyright.
